Is the 24 page limit on the notebook inclusive or exclusive of the four required, non-content pages (cover, TOC, team info, and references pages). IOW, do those four pages count towards the page maximum or not? Thanks for the clarification. ------------------------------- The notebook is limited to 24 pages maximum in total length. Yes those pages count toward the 24 pages.

The notebook guidelines reference the MIT Dept. of Mechanical Engineering Lab Notebook Instructions that indicates showing the date on every page on the top outside corner. Their example is set up for double sided printing, and the outside corner alternates right and left. Is this acceptable or should we have it appear only on the right side, since submittals will not be printed and only as a pdf? Or does it make any difference. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------- RESPONSE -- The placement of the date is not specified in the rules and is up to the students to decide.
