ABOUT SEAPERCH

SeaPerch is an educational tool -- a fun, challenging, hands-on learning activity and curriculum in which students ranging from 6th - 12th grade build underwater robots, or Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

In teams of two to four, students assemble their 'Perches, then test, operate, and compete them in a pool.

Sponsored by the Office of Naval Research, SeaPerch ignites interest in science, math, and engineering to inspire this country's next generation of naval architects and marine, ocean, and naval engineers.
