The Northern Virginia Regional SeaPerch Challenge will be held on December 6th & 7th, 2012 at the beautiful Manassas Park Community Center. About 750 students will participate, and the top two teams from each day will be offered a spot to the 2013 National SeaPerch Challenge in Indianapolis, Indiana.
It's a large event, and a large number of volunteer judges are needed. The open shifts are 8AM-12PM and 12PM-4PM on Thursday, December 6th or
Friday, December 7th. Volunteers do not need to know how the ROVs work to
judge the pool competition; instructions will be provided. In addition to a
great time, volunteers get a free lunch and a SeaPerch polo shirt (dress
for a hot and humid pool-side).
